Sean Schaefer

Sean Schaefer is the firm’s Chief Trial Counsel and manages the Personal Injury Division. He previously worked at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and became a partner at a prestigious litigation firm before co-founding Peknic, Peknic & Schaefer, LLC in 2006.

Robert H. Solomon

Mr. Solomon began his legal career in New York City at the multinational law firm of LaBoeuf Lamb Dewey Ballantine, where he counseled private and public clients in corporate and commercial matters. In 1988, he opened his own firm on Long Island, NY, focusing on bankruptcy. He has worked with thousands of individuals seeking a fresh start through bankruptcy. He represents litigants in contested matters under the Bankruptcy Code. He has held public office as a School Board Trustee and served on the Board of Directors for several community organizations, including the local hospital, chamber of commerce, and homeowner’s association, and was president of the local bar association. He also served as Chairman of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island. He has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been included in Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in America. He has spoken on bankruptcy issues, the student loan crisis, and alternatives to repayment.

Catherine Papandrew

Catherine Papandrew joined the firm in 2017. Her practice areas include insurance defense, personal injury litigation, matrimonial law, and wills, trusts, and estates. She previously worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department.

Trudy Adell was Of Counsel and one of the founding members of the law offices of Elovich and Adell. A graduate of Sewanhaka High School and Browns Business School, Trudy first worked as a secretary and later a paralegal in the Law Firm of Lawrence Elovich, Esq. While serving as a paralegal, she attended college and law school at night and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Adelphi University. Subsequently, she graduated Cum Laude from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College. Trudy specialized in personal injury law and served as the managing partner of the law firm of Elovich and Adell. In addition, Trudy was an active member of the Long Beach community. As such, she held leadership positions in several organizations. Specifically, Trudy was a former president of the Long Beach Lawyers Assocation, director of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, counsel to the Long Beach Auxiliary Police, pillar member of the Long Beach Medical Center and member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Thomas Chojnacki

Thomas Chojnacki is an experienced trial attorney handling personal injury and property damage litigation, including New York State Labor Law, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability. He previously served as Acting Village Justice for East Rockaway.

Darryn Solotoff is the managing partner and chief trial counsel of Elovich and Adell. Sean Kiely joined the firm in 2025, specializing in civil litigation, particularly complex personal injury cases. Originally from Ireland, he qualified as a Barrister-at-Law and has secured multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for clients.
