Steven B. Ferber
A founding partner of Davis & Ferber, Steven leads our Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Group. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars on his clients’ behalf. Unlike attorneys who settle cases at a lower value to avoid trial, Steven has taken over 200 cases to verdict, making him well known for only settling cases for their true value. Steven served on the Judicial Screening Committee, screening candidates for Judgeship. He holds the highest possible rating of “AV” from Martindale Hubbell, and was co-chair of the Supreme Court committee of the Suffolk Bar as well as Boss of the Year, Suffolk County Legal Secretaries Association.

Michael J. Montgomery
Michael J. Montgomery is an attorney with over 25 years of experience. He has handled thousands of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, falls, construction injuries and dog bites. He also has experience in real estate closings, wills and estates, and business law matters. Mr. Montgomery is a North Babylon native, who later graduated as the valedictorian of Mattituck-Cutchogue High School. He then graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, where he served as a judicial board member and a resident advisor. He thereafter graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University, College of Law, where he was selected as a member of The Law Review and was honored with admission to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Montgomery is admitted to practice in New York and Florida, and in the Eastern and Southern Federal Districts of New York, and is also a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association. Mr. Montgomery was a name partner in the law firm of Wolinsky, Parnell & Montgomery, LLP in Lake Ronkonkoma for 13 years prior to joining Davis & Ferber, LLP in December of 2020. He practices out of our main office in Islandia, New York, and in our Mattituck office for the convenience of our East End clients. Mr. Montgomery is married and has three adult children.
Cary M. Greenberg
Cary joined the firm in 2005. He currently acts as managing attorney in the Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice Group. Since his graduation from law school and admission to the Bar, he has concentrated his practice on all phases of litigation. Before joining Davis & Ferber, Cary served as a managing attorney for some of the top litigation firms in New York City. He is a member of the New York Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Cary handles a variety of complex cases including personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, civil rights, and commercial cases on both State and Federal Levels from inception through trial. Several of his cases were landmark cases involving liability of bars and restaurants under the “Dram Shop Law”, and lawsuits on behalf of police officers pursuant to General Municipal Law §205(e). Cary also prepared and argued numerous Appeals at the Appellate Division level. He has obtained hundreds of sizable awards for his clients, either by means of negotiated settlements or verdicts after trial. Many of these verdicts have been reported in the industry-wide verdict reporters.
Mark C. Kujawski
Mark C Kujawski practices in the areas of labor law, medical malpractice, product liability, negligence, veterans’ benefits, and insurance litigation in both federal and state courts. His notable results include Ruge v. Heavens Heating & Cooling, ($2.25 million dollars - Reported in The New York Law Journal - Decision of Interest, New York Jury Verdict Reporter - Decision of Interest); Deutch v. Davis, 298 A.D.2d 487, 750 N.Y.S.2d 84 (2nd Dept. 2002); Second Department reversed dismissal of brain-injured infant’s case. Reported in Decisions 2002, cited in 25 Causes of Action 807 (2004), 15 New York Practice Series 12:9 (2004); Kollbeck v. 417 FS Realty, 4 A.D.3d 314, 772 N.Y.S.2d 688 (1st Dept. 2004) (Handled both the lower court action and appeal in First Department. Significant change in the Labor Law regarding worker protection under 204(1). Reported in Decision 2003, cited in New York State Pattern Jury Instruction - Civil 2:217). Mr. Kujawski earned his B.A. degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from Catholic University and his J.D. from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law.
Jennifer A. Spellman
Jennifer is an associate in the law firm Davis & Ferber, where she practices in the areas of personal injury and negligence litigation in state courts. She is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. She earned her B.A. degree from Tulane University and her J.D. degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While attending law school, Jennifer served on Hofstra’s Labor and Employment Journal and had her co-authored Student Note published. Jeffrey M. Pincus
Jeff is a trial partner in the firm’s Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice Group. Prior to joining Davis & Ferber, Jeff was a partner in one of the largest defense firms in the metropolitan region. He represented a host of individual and corporate defendants in high exposure, catastrophic losses stemming from accidents in the trucking and transportation industry, construction accidents, vehicular negligence, products liability along with matters of municipal liability, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. Upon graduation from law school, Jeff was an Assistant District Attorney where he gained invaluable training as a trial attorney. As a member of the Sex Crimes Unit, he helped bring justice and closure to victims of the worst possible crimes. Jeff is delighted to utilize his decades of experience as a trial attorney to represent individuals who sustained serious personal injury due to the negligence of others.

David A. Davis
A founding partner of Davis & Ferber, David heads our Labor Relations and Employment Law Group. Since 1993, David has represented individual clients and labor organizations in every facet of the employment relationship. David devotes a majority of his time to union contract negotiations, serving as chief negotiator in collective bargaining. Thanks to his tireless work our clients are industry leaders in their respective fields. David often speaks at union events, lecturing on negotiation strategies, duty of fair representation, and contract interpretation.
