William B. Collins
I have been practicing law since 1982, representing people for serious personal injuries throughout the United States. I am presently admitted to the State Bar of three separate states: New York, Florida and Michigan. My successful litigation in venues throughout the country attests to my ability to perform at the highest level anywhere and under any circumstances. I take special interest in complex industrial and commercial negligence, including explosions, chemical exposure, construction mishaps and unsafe work practices.

Samuel J. Capizzi
I am a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, and I have dedicated my career to representing individuals harmed by another’s negligence. I am proud to represent clients against the powerful interests of insurance companies in large corporations. I understand that it is not just the client’s interest at stake, but those of their families as well - a responsibility that I take very seriously. Throughout my career, I have handled a wide range of cases, including construction accidents, railroad FELA cases, general negligence, auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, and commercial disputes. I have achieved numerous significant recoveries, including multiple-million-dollar settlements and jury verdicts. I am passionate about my work, and I particularly enjoy taking on complex cases that present unique challenges. In fact, some of my best trial outcomes have come in cases that other attorneys deemed unwinnable. I approach cases with a fresh perspective, and I often challenge the status quo on behalf of my clients. This requires significant trial and appellate experience. I have argued before New York’s intermediate appellate courts as well as the highest court in the State of New York, the Court of Appeals in Albany. A unique aspect of my practice is my collaboration with other attorneys across New York State. I have established a wide network of attorneys and law firms who regularly seek my assistance in cases that are complex, expensive to prosecute, or require extensive jury trial experience. When the case is referred to me, my team handles it from inception to conclusion. As permitted by the Judiciary Law, co-counsel relationships are entered into. Every part of a case is vital to its success, and our process always begins with a thorough investigation led by our experienced investigator, Kevin Ryan. Additionally, experts are often retained immediately following an accident, and my over 30 years of experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of experts across various fields. While I prefer to get involved at the earliest possible stage of a case, I am frequently asked to step in during the later stages, such as mediation, trial, or even appeal. I am always available to consult with other attorneys on any aspect of the case. I am a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Best Lawyers in America, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Pro Bono Appeals Panel, and the Erie County Bar Association. In addition to my active trial and litigation practice, I speak to legal organizations and community groups on various legal topics. Recently, I lectured on closing arguments in construction accident cases for the New York State Bar Association. I am also an Adjunct Professor at the University at Buffalo Law School, where I contribute to the Advocacy Institute.
