Abdul R. Farukhi is a veteran courtroom litigator with over 15 years of high-level trial, investigative, and appellate experience. As a Senior Attorney at The Law Offices of Omar Khawaja, Abdul represents clients in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and complex liability cases. He served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and as lead enforcement attorney in the Texas Attorney General’s Health Care Program Enforcement Division. Abdul is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is licensed to practice in both Texas and California. He earned his law degree from Baylor Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as President-Elect of the South Asian Bar Association of Houston and is a founder and board member of the Muslim Bar Association of Houston. He has also served on the Texas Young Lawyers Association board.
