About Amanda

Amanda DeMatteis is a Connecticut employment lawyer who represents individuals in litigation, particularly employment, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. She handles cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, defamation, retaliation, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and contract disputes. Amanda has been ranked by Super Lawyers® since 2022, previously as a Rising Star from 2015 to 2021. She has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers In America® since 2021. Amanda proudly serves as the President of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and is an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), and the American Bar Association (ABA). She is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). Amanda earned her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her B.S. from Sacred Heart University.
