About Aryn

Aryn James Mendoza is a proud first-generation attorney, driven by her parents' work ethic to advocate for the underdog. She graduated from The University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in government and from Baylor School of Law in Spring 2023. During law school, she participated in Baylor's rigorous Practice Court program and served as an officer in the American Constitutional Society. She interned with a general litigation firm in Waco, Texas, and worked with the Travis County Office of Child Representation, which shifted her focus to family law. After graduating, she worked as a legal assistant and then an associate attorney at a family law firm in Buda, Texas, focusing on emotionally charged divorces and high-conflict custody disputes. She joined Cofer & Connelly, PLLC in March 2024, maintaining her focus on family law.
