James J. Noonan is a partner at the firm, practicing primarily in personal injury and insurance defense, with a focus on construction litigation, insurance coverage disputes, motor vehicle, premises liability, and uninsured/under-insured motorist cases. He also handles professional liability, commercial liability, products liability, and transportation litigation. He is an active trial attorney with numerous trials in state and federal courts and has handled appeals to the Connecticut Appellate Court and the New York Appellate Division. He is a frequent guest lecturer at Quinnipiac University and Quinnipiac University School of Law. A former Captain in the United States Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corp, he is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a Past President of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and currently the Connecticut State Representative to the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
