About Joseph

Joseph G. Nogay graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and received his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University’s College of Law, where he was selected to The Order of Barristers. With over 40 years of practice, he is licensed in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and admitted to federal district and appeals courts, including the Fourth Circuit. He has a national reputation for advocacy, representing individuals, banks, and Fortune 500 companies, and has achieved hundreds of millions in verdicts and settlements. Mr. Nogay was voted a 2025 Super Lawyer in general litigation, is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers, and has lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He holds a 'Very High Rating in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards' from Martindale-Hubbell and has served as Vice Chairman of the West Virginia State Bar’s Real Estate Committee and City Solicitor for Chester, West Virginia.
