Mr. Kandel has been associated with the firm since July 2021, specializing in Workers’ Compensation matters in the State of New Jersey. Prior to joining the Spevack Law Firm, Mr. Kandel practiced at prominent law firms in New Jersey, where he specialized in Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Kandel served in the U.S. Army (Active and Reserve Component) from 1981 to 2011 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. His last duty position was with the 101st Airborne Division in Afghanistan as the Military Lead for Governance and Rule of Law, Stability Operations, Regional Command - East. Mr. Kandel is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section, and the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court. He received a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. Mr. Kandel is licensed to practice in New Jersey, and is also admitted to the Federal Bar for the United States District of New Jersey. Mr. Kandel is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney.
