About Andrew
Andrew Blancato graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.A. in Economics and received his J.D. from New York Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court and named 2011 Advocate of the Year. He is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern, Mr. Blancato served as a trial attorney with the New York City Law Department and an Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Bureau of the New York Office of the Attorney General. He is an accomplished trial attorney, winning defense verdicts across New York State in both federal and state courts. He concentrates on the defense of law enforcement and other constitutional claims as well as general liability litigation, including premises and motor vehicle claims.
