About Daniel
Danny Murphy serves as an Officer in PennStuart’s Abingdon, Virginia office, where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. Danny focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense and government investigations, professional licensure investigations, and military law including court-martial defense and administrative and criminal investigations. He is an experienced litigator who has tried over 80 cases in federal and military courts. Prior to joining PennStuart, Danny served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Virginia and spent 20 years as an officer in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, serving 15 years as a Judge Advocate. He was recognized as the #1 trial attorney in the United States Army.
