
About Danielle
Danielle Jacobs earned a Bachelor of Arts in Labor and Employment Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2020 from Pennsylvania State University. She earned her J.D. in 2023 from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While at Hofstra, Ms. Jacobs served as the Senior Research Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. Her note OSHA’s Interaction with the ADA: How it is Limiting Anti-Discriminatory Worker Protections was published in Volume 51 of the Hofstra Law Review. In addition, Ms. Jacobs served as a member of the Moot Court Board and received numerous awards and honors for her work studies in labor and employment law and public service. During law school, Danielle served as a judicial intern to United States District Judge Joanna Seybert, a legal intern with the National Labor Relations Board, and participated in a variety of pro bono programs. Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern LLP, Ms. Jacobs was an associate at a national labor and employment law firm specializing in management-side defense, where she represented and counseled employers of all sizes in an array of labor relations and employment law matters. The majority of her litigation practice focused on defending employers in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation actions in New York state and federal courts, as well as in proceedings brought before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the National Labor Relations Board. Ms. Jacobs is admitted to practice in the New York State courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
