
About Diandra
Diandra Burton earned her B.A. from Loyola University Maryland in 2019 and her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2024. In law school, she served as a staff member on Volume 41 of Hofstra’s Labor and Employment Law Journal. She also served as a member of the Moot Court Board, where she held a position on the Hofstra Moot Court Board DEI committee and mentored incoming members. Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern, Ms. Burton worked in a variety of clinics, including Hofstra’s Community Economic Development Clinic and Hofstra’s criminal law externship as a Clinical Program Participant at New York County’s District Attorney’s Office. During her first year of law school, Ms. Burton became a member of the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. Through this program she continues to mentor college and high school students interested in the legal field. Prior to law school, Ms. Burton participated in a year-long fellowship program working for pro bono legal aid services in the Greater Chicago Area.
