About Donna
Donna Aldea heads the firm’s appellate and post-conviction litigation group. She earned her law degree from St. John’s University in 1998. She was an appellate attorney at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office for 15 years, serving as Counsel for Special Litigation. Ms. Aldea has extensive experience litigating complex issues in various federal and state courts, and her work has influenced New York and federal law. She served as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University School of Law and has been voted a New York Metro Area Super Lawyer every year since 2015. Her record includes over 300 published decisions and five cases listed in the National Registry of Exonerations.
