About Duane
Duane W. Hartman, now serving as Of Counsel, began his journey with the firm as a law clerk in 1965. He served as Valparaiso City Judge from 1972 to 1980. Currently, Mr. Hartman practices in civil litigation, domestic relations, and real estate litigation. His skills are enriched by his background in both engineering and law, holding degrees in both fields from Valparaiso University. He has been actively involved in the community, including board chairman at Lutheran Social Services and president of the Porter County Bar Association, VU School of Law Alumni Association, and Immanuel Lutheran Church Voters’ Assembly. Mr. Hartman is also a recipient of the Jaycees’ Outstanding Young Hoosier award.
