About Harry

Mr. Short’s law practice began in 1955. In 1962 he and former colleagues of Judge John McDevitt’s office formed their own firm, eventually forming the firm of Liebert, Short & Hirshland. He has tried over 300 cases to jury verdict throughout his career concentrating in products liability litigation. His clients have included Sears, Roebuck & Co., Chrysler Corporation, General Electric, Mitsubishi, Suzuki Corporation and Otis Elevator.
