About Hyman

Hyman J. Greenberg, a former resident of Richmond Hill, Queens, graduated from St. John's University and St. John's Law School in 1948. He practiced Criminal Law for over 50 years, with significant experience in criminal trials at both State and Federal levels. He served as Associate Counsel to the Joint Legislative Committee on Public Health of the State of New York, was a past-president of the Criminal Court's Bar Association of Queens County, a past member of the Queens County Bar Association, a past Vice Commander of the American Legion, and a Founding Father and past Director of the Samaritan Half Way Society. He served in the United States Army for 6 years, including 2 years in the South Pacific during World War II. He remained active in various Civic Associations and provided guidance to Addabbo & Greenberg Law as 'Of Counsel' until his passing in 2008.
