About Jill
Jill C. Stone graduated in 1986 from the City University of New York Law School at Queens College. She specializes in Criminal, Matrimonial, and Family Law. She has been a member of the Attorney for Children Panel in Nassau County Family and Supreme Courts since 1996, handling hundreds of cases. She is a member of several bar associations and an Advisory Board Member of We Care. Ms. Stone is also affiliated with the New York Family Law American Inn of Court. She has lectured at Hofstra University School of Law and St. John’s University School of Law on family and matrimonial matters, and for the New York State Bar Association. She has been a Mentor for Hofstra Law School's Family Law Externship Program and participated in a High School Senior Experience program. Ms. Stone has appeared on national TV as an expert in children’s rights and received the Juridis Peridis Award and the Virginia Duncombe Award. She has been named SUPERLAWYER since 2014 and recognized as a Top Woman Attorney in the New York Metro Area and a Top Legal Eagle in Nassau - Suffolk County. She also received the Richard Keidel Esq. Tribute Memorial Award. Post-pandemic, she founded STONE, STUDIN YOUNG AND NIGRO LAW GROUP LLP.
