Mr. Paltrowitz’s primary practice areas are Labor Law, Education Law, Municipal Law & Finance, Not for- Profit Law, and Corporate & Commercial Law. He also provides bond counsel services and legal assistance for capital projects. Born in Elmira, New York in 1950, he was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1975, the U.S Supreme Court in 1978, and the U.S. Tax Court in 1981. He received his B.S. from Cornell University in 1971 and his J.D., cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University in 1974. He was Comments Editor for the Albany Law Review (1973-1974) and a member of the Justinian Society. He joined the firm in 1975 and has been a principal since 1980, managing principal since 1986.
