James LiCalzi, Partner and Associate General Counsel at Duffy & Duffy, is a seasoned civil litigator with years of experience who concentrates his practice on representing catastrophically injured individuals in both complex medical malpractice and significant personal injury cases. In addition to representing clients from the initial stages of discovery through trial, Mr. LiCalzi also represents the firm’s clients in the appellate courts. Prior to joining Duffy & Duffy, he was associated with one of the largest medical malpractice and personal injury defense firms on Long Island. Mr. LiCalzi is a frequent lecturer on trial preparation. He has also been a lecturer for the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the National Business Institute on a wide variety of topics for fellow legal professionals. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Trial, the American Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. LiCalzi earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University of Law and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College.
