John Whitaker

John D. Whitaker, a Gainesville native, graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is a past president of both the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (local chapter) and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association. John began his career as a prosecutor under State Attorney Rod Smith, specializing in DUI and traffic enforcement, handling thousands of cases.
