Claudia Galan

Born in Monterrey and raised in Monclova, Mexico, Claudia knows firsthand the fear, struggles, and hope immigrant families face. Once living in the U.S. without legal status herself, she became a proud U.S. citizen at 26 - and made it her life’s mission to fight for others like her. With a Political Science degree from the University of Texas-Pan American and a law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Claudia founded Galan Law Firm in 2019 to provide strong, compassionate legal help in immigration and personal injury cases. That same year, she gained national attention for helping free a wrongly detained U.S. citizen teen. Today, Claudia serves as President of the San Antonio Bar Association, hosts a weekly legal Q&A on Radio La Nuestra, and gives back through school supply drives, holiday donations, and community events. Jacqueline E. (“Jackie”) Lasher joined Price, Meese, Shulman & D’Arminio as an associate in 2017. She concentrates her practice in Education Law where she advocates on behalf of individuals and families. She handles special education cases, disciplinary matters, higher education matters, and guardianships. She also practices in the areas of trusts and estates, providing guidance to clients with their estate planning needs, as well as special needs planning. Ms. Lasher is also an active participant in the firm’s land use and zoning practice. Ms. Lasher graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey in Ewing with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Law and Society. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law where she participated in the Center for Social Justice Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic. She was also a member of the Seton Hall Circuit Review and an active member on the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. After graduating law school, Ms. Lasher served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan J. Steele, J.S.C., in Bergen County and thereafter was associated with a firm in Cranford, New Jersey. Ms. Lasher is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Bergen County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the District of New Jersey. She also acts as a volunteer attorney on special education matters for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.

Michael Lovins is a founding member of Lovins Law. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy, and from The University of Texas Law School in 2001. He served as a briefing attorney to U.S. Federal Judge James R. Nowlin and spent 4.5 years at McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, LLP before founding The Law Offices of Michael E. Adrienne Browning

Adrienne Browning was born in Brunswick and raised in Wayne County. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Florida Coastal School of Law. In 2019, she joined Alan Tucker to form Tucker and Browning Law PC. She previously worked as a prosecutor in the Glynn County District Attorney’s office, specializing in crimes against women and children. Tristan N. B. Simpson

Attorney Tristan Simpson is the newest partner of Platt Cole Russell & Simpson PLLC. Ms. Simpson joined the firm in May 2022. Born into a military family, Ms. Simpson has lived all over the country. However, when her father retired from the military, her family made Melbourne their home. Ms. Simpson is a graduate of Palm Bay High School and thereafter attended Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Before making it to law school she earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Central Florida. Her law studies were completed at North Carolina Central University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor. After graduating from law school, Ms. Simpson advocated for children and families with her work for the Guardian ad Litem Program and the Department of Children and Families in various Florida counties, including Brevard County. Brian King

Brian King grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana, and worked his way through Louisiana Tech University, earning a degree in history with a minor in physics. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University, graduating cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Barristers. After law school, he clerked at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal and served three years as an assistant district attorney. He now represents injured persons, fighting for fair treatment from insurance companies and corporations. He is licensed in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court, having tried over 100 cases.

Jessica Timm

Jessica Timm joined Patterson Legal Group in 2022, practicing personal injury law. She attended Washburn University School of Law where she served as the recruitment officer for Phi Alpha Delta and co-chair of Washburn’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She earned a pro bono certificate for completing over 50 hours of pro bono work. Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from Pittsburg State University. Outside of work, she enjoys playing with her pups, watching football or basketball, reading, and spending time with friends. She also aims to visit every NFL stadium, having visited two and planning a third in 2022.

Keith R. Shepherd

Keith Shepherd has years of experience successfully handling a variety of complex legal matters. Keith is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law where he achieved Magna Cum Laude honors. Following law school, Keith spent the first eight years of his law practice working for a prestigious downtown Portland law firm where he handled a wide variety of litigation and business matters. Her experience included assisting a well-known Japanese car manufacturer in acquiring a big car manufacturing business in Thailand.
