After graduating from school and getting admitted to the Alaska Bar in 2016, he spent two years as a law clerk in the Anchorage Superior Court. He performed extensive work researching and drafting orders on felony-level criminal cases and petitions for post-conviction relief. John left his clerkship to join Alaska’s largest workers’ compensation defense firm and began working exclusively on workers’ compensation law. He worked in all stages of litigation, starting at the trial level and going through appeals all the way to the Alaska Supreme Court.
