Dr. Armando Payas was born in Santiago of Cuba, Cuba, on February 16, 1928. He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Havana University in 1953 and began practicing law as a criminal attorney. In 1955 he was appointed Notary Public. He arrived in Miami in 1962 and later obtained a Master's Degree from Florida State University. In 1972, he enrolled in the University of Florida Law School and was licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida on November 19, 1976. He is the founder and senior partner of Payas, Payas & Payas, LLP. He passed away on July 11, 2023.

Darío C. Gómez

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Gómez’s passion for the law began at a very early age, often attending meetings with his father who was a business associate of several different law firms in the Los Angeles area.
