Larry Jarvis

Larry Jarvis has joined Carlson & Blakeman, LLP to add his talents to our criminal defense and immigration law teams. As an English- and Spanish-speaker, he is able to conveniently offer his outstanding service to more people in our communities. Early in his legal career, Larry knew he wanted to focus on immigration law. His mother and wife are both immigrants from Mexico and was inspired his own experiences with immigration. He is insistent on handling every case he accepts as if he was representing himself or a family member because he knows what it is like to need someone there to protect your rights in a time of need. Before becoming an attorney, Larry proudly served as an active-duty United States Marine for five years. Thank you for your service, Larry! After his service with the Armed Forces, he graduated from the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Later, he served as a police officer in Mesa, Arizona and attended Creighton’s School of Law to complete his J.D. The time he spent with the police force gives him unique insight when working on criminal defense cases today. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Larry decided to eventually settle in Nebraska because it is such a beautiful place to raise children. He spends most of this time playing with his children and energetic dogs.

Alex Bonilla

Alex Bonilla is a dedicated workers’ compensation attorney born and raised in San Francisco, with a law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law. He has represented both injured employees and insurance companies, giving him a unique perspective. Known as a fierce advocate, he litigates all aspects of workers’ compensation law and offers bilingual services in English and Spanish. He has a remarkable 99% success rate and operates on a contingency basis.

Thomas Bailey

Thomas Bailey is an attorney focusing his law practice on personal injury, complex criminal and civil litigation, including hotly contested divorces and business disputes. Louis Berk, born in Caracas, Venezuela, moved to the U.S. in 1994. He learned hard work from his parents and gained business and customer service skills through early jobs. He earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M College of Law in 2014. Louis began his legal career focusing on product liability and later recovered millions for clients at McBride, Scicchitano & Leacox P.A., utilizing his fluent Spanish. In 2018, he founded Louis Berk Law to better serve his community and has been Of Counsel to The Simmons Law Group since 2019, specializing in various personal injury cases.

Alexander Ktenas

Chicago, IL

Alexander Ktenas grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. He primarily focuses on criminal defense and DUI defense. As a former prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorney, he has years of experience handling felony, misdemeanor, DUI, and traffic cases. He has successfully conducted hundreds of trials and is known for his aggressive trial strategy and knowledge of the law.

Ima-Fabiola O. Odeyemi

Wichita, KS

Ima-Fabiola Odeyemi is an Associate Attorney at Penner Lowe Law Group, joining in June 2022. She grew up in Miramar, Florida, and moved to Kansas in 2020. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology in 2010 from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013. She previously worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida, prosecuting criminal cases, and as a Criminal Investigator for the Unemployment Insurance Division for the State of Colorado. Ima is bilingual and provides representation to both English and Spanish speaking clients. Her practice areas include Criminal Defense and Immigration Law. Leonel Ruiz is a civil litigator with experience in both defense and plaintiffs’ practice. Leonel’s practice includes construction litigation, personal injury, property damage litigation, and commercial litigation. Leonel was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, where he lived until he finished his undergraduate degree-a triple major B.A. in Political Science, Psychology, and Creative Writing with honors. Leonel then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he taught 8th Grade Social Studies as part of Teach for America; he also got his Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. From here, Leonel moved to Austin, Texas, to get his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, Leonel served as an officer for the Chicano Hispanic Law Student Association (CHLSA) and was editor in chief of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy. Leonel’s main practice is in New Mexico, but he is also licensed to practice in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. Moreover, Leonel is fluent in Spanish-college level-and conversational Bulgarian.

Micah C. Daniels

Micah has been practicing law since 2006, having joined forces with her mother, Rhoda Daniels, in 2008. She attended college at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and obtained a joint M.B.A./J.D. through the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law. Micah’s prior experiences include clerking for Stoll Keenon Ogden in their transactional practices and litigation departments, as well as an internship with Judge Raymond B. Ray, Federal Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Florida. While at Stoll Keenon, Micah co-authored an article with Thomas Rutledge titled “Who’s Selling the Next Round: Wines, State Lines, the Twenty-first Amendment and the Commerce Clause,” 33 Northern Kentucky Law Review 1 (May 2006) Micah is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida. Micah’s practice now focuses on Social Security Disability law and bankruptcy issues.
