Melanie Moore began her legal career in Hampton, Virginia, where she litigated a variety of civil, criminal and traffic matters. In 1994, she joined the law firm of Gerald T. Zerkin & Associates in Richmond, Virginia, and continued her practice as a litigator, participating in significant constitutional litigation and appeals in state and federal court. Her caseload also included contract, employment, personal injury, domestic matters, and habeas corpus representation. She wrote appellate briefs on various criminal law issues, including death penalty cases and became a member of the Virginia College of Criminal Defense Attorneys. She joined Framme Law Firm PC in 2001 as a general practitioner.
