Thomas Roughneen is the founder of Citizen Soldier Law, established in 2013. He served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Union and Essex Counties for nine years. He enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard in 1988, received his commission in 1990, and retired after 30 years of service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG).
