Brad Stallard is the Managing Director at PennStuart and an Officer in the firm’s Abingdon, Virginia office, serving on the firm’s Management Committee and Litigation, Insurance Defense, and Employment practice groups. He previously chaired the firm’s Litigation Section. Brad is an experienced litigator who has tried hundreds of cases throughout Virginia’s state and federal courts. He regularly counsels companies, corporate and governmental boards, municipalities, elected officials, businesses, and insurance carriers on a broad array of issues including commercial and business disputes, civil rights and governmental liability, employment law, insurance defense, ERISA, and tort defense. He is the current Chairman of the Litigation Section of the Virginia State Bar. Prior to joining PennStuart, Brad served as law clerk to The Honorable James R. Spencer, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, and as law clerk to The Honorable Lawrence L. Koontz, Jr., former Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia and now Senior Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court.
