Edward A. Robertson
Edward A. Robertson graduated with honors from Hofstra Law School and was admitted to practice law on April 14, 1977. He is also admitted in Florida and the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, trying murder cases, and later in Suffolk District Attorney’s office, handling corruption cases. After public service, he joined Siben & Siben, focusing on criminal defense and then becoming a senior negligence trial lawyer. He later joined Jakubowski, Robertson & Goldsmith, where he works in personal injury, criminal defense, and real estate. Mr. Robertson is active in several bar associations and has earned an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.

Mark J. Goldsmith
Mark J. Goldsmith graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and received his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1983. He was admitted to practice in New York in 1984 and also before the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Federal Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. He began his career as a commercial litigator and negligence trial lawyer before co-founding Jakubowski, Robertson & Goldsmith in 1988. He handles negligence, commercial matters, and transactional matters, and serves as general counsel to several local businesses. Mr. Goldsmith has been appointed as Receiver and Referee by Suffolk County Supreme Court judges and has earned an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.

Frank M. Maffei, Jr.
Frank M. Maffei, Jr. graduated from Long Island University and received his Juris Doctor from Capital University. He served as a teaching assistant and interned for the Franklin County Public Defender and District Attorney offices. He was an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, prosecuting various cases. He later became a senior trial attorney at a large personal injury firm, handling significant cases to verdict and settlement. Mr. Maffei handles personal injury matters and criminal defense, and serves as a Court appointed Receiver and Referee. He is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, NY State and Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Associations, and is a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Brian T. Egan
Since Mr. Egan’s admission to practice, he has concentrated his practice on civil litigation, including among his experience commercial litigation, business law, and municipal law. He is routinely involved in cases which are of major media interest, and has been involved in cases featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes and reported in the New York Times, Newsday, New York Post and the New York Law Journal.

John Q. Kelly
Subsequent to his landmark verdict as lead attorney for the Estate of Nicole Brown Simpson in its wrongful death action against O.J. Simpson, John Q. Kelly continues to successfully handle matters that receive national and international coverage, most recently representing President Donald J. Chase L. Prochaska
Chase L. Prochaska majored in history with minors in English and Legal Studies at Endicott College, where he was Chapter President of the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society and an active member of Sigma Tau Delta National English Honor Society. He interned at Siben & Siben LLP and Tinari, O’Connell, & Osbourne LLP. He received his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with a concentration in international law and awards for excellence in clinical education and superior classroom performance. During law school, he participated in an international law program in Prague and Dublin, interned at Philips, Artura & Cox, worked at Hartford Superior Courts, and was a Semester Legal Clinician for the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. He previously worked as a solo practitioner in real estate, estate planning, and litigation before joining Jakubowski, Robertson, Maffei, Goldsmith & Tartaglia, LLP as an associate attorney in commercial and personal injury litigation.

Bridget J. Tartaglia
Bridget Tartaglia graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received her Juris Doctor with honors from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1995. She was a founding member and Research Editor of the Environmental Law Journal and received academic honors including a Community Service Award and the American Jurisprudence Award of Excellence in Creditor’s Rights. She interned for the Honorable Howard Levitt and was admitted to practice in Connecticut (1995), New York (1996), the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York (1996), and the Supreme Court of the United States America (2005). Ms. Tartaglia specializes in Matrimonial and Family litigation, residential real property closings, and general civil litigation. She is an active member of several bar associations and has received multiple awards for her work in Family Law, including AV Preeminent rating, Lawyer of Distinction, Martindale-Hubbell Top Rated Lawyer, and Super Lawyers. She is also involved in community activities such as youth basketball coaching and fundraising.
