View AllR. Brendan Dummigan
Brendan has been practicing law and helping people since 1993. He and Randy formed Pickett Dummigan LLP in 2003. He feels so fortunate to practice with someone as intelligent and passionate as Randy Pickett, his friend and mentor. Brendan is a trial lawyer and has tried over 50 cases and successfully resolved thousands more. Brendan was inspired to become a lawyer when he was traveling and backpacking throughout South America. He met several attorneys who travelled to rural communities to educate farmers about their land rights in an effort to protect their livelihoods and land from wealthy businesses trying to take advantage of them. This experience has deeply influenced his philosophy about practicing law. Brendan is committed to helping people who don’t have the means or understanding to navigate the complex civil justice system. In addition to representing his clients, he has spoken at continuing legal education seminars and volunteers in the community. He has volunteered with the Drop-Out Prevention program at various Portland middle schools. He’s also been invited to speak at local high schools. He is a weekly volunteer reader at a local elementary school in the Start Making a Reader Today Program. He has served on the board of directors of Resolutions Northwest and Causa. He is a past chair of the Oregon State Bar’s Product Liability group. When he isn’t practicing law, Brendan spends time travelling, cooking, gardening, skiing, cycling and relaxing with his wife and close friends. He is a proud father of two boys; a recent college graduate and one close to graduating. He supports the neighborhood elementary school his two sons attended and has volunteered as a soccer coach for the Irvington Soccer Club. He is a regular bicycle commuter, rain or shine. He takes the “counselor” aspect of his practice seriously with the aim of helping people through the stress of litigation.

George Curtis
George is originally from Wisconsin, where his father also serves as an attorney. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he has been practicing law since 1982. Like his partner, Jon Zbinden, George gained valuable trial experience practicing criminal law early in his career before moving on to personal injury and wrongful death claims.
J. Randolph Pickett
Randy is a seasoned trial lawyer with a passion for helping people in difficult situations. He’s been trying cases since 1972 and has argued cases before the Oregon Supreme Court and made appearances before the United States Supreme Court. As the Senior Partner of Pickett Dummigan Weingart, Randy continues to work tirelessly on behalf of his clients to achieve justice for injured people and their families. Before he started his career in law, Randy worked as a forklift driver. He also had the opportunity to work on the railroad. His job involved jumping from train to train and crawling under rail cars to make sure everything was in working order. His forklift training and experience on the railroad give him a first-hand understanding of the dangers workers often face and what can happen when people don’t prioritize safety. Randy now works on all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the state. Randy has not forgotten his roots and he has a special affinity for victims of workplace injuries. He frequently finds himself continuing the fight for his clients in Oregon’s appellate courts, trying to develop new good law for injured workers and other victims of negligence. Randy has developed a national reputation for handling catastrophic injury cases involving industrial equipment and is often asked by other attorneys in complex cases. Randy has argued cases around the country in some of the biggest cities in the US (New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles). Other personal injury lawyers describe Randy as being “fearless” because of his willingness to take tough cases on behalf of deserving clients and for fighting to see difficult issues of law settled right.

Kimberly supports several local organizations and charities including the Oregon Humane Society, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Dress for Success Oregon, and her local PTA.
