About Daniel

Daniel K. Back, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Bluefield University (2004) and his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law (2007). He won the American Association for Justice (AAJ) National Mock Trial Championship. In the last two years, he has secured over $30,000,000 in settlements and trial verdicts, including a $3,277,455 medical malpractice jury trial verdict in Cowley County. He has been recognized as a National Trial Lawyer 'Top 40 under 40' for 2016-2022, a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2013-2018, and a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers for 2018-2022. He was also selected for the 2023 National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Mr. Back is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is an adjunct professor at Wichita State University, coaches youth sports, and is active in the Christian Legal Society.
