About Daren
Daren R. Barney is a Founding Partner & President at Barney McKenna & Olmstead. His legal expertise spans a wide range of practice areas including Business Law, Construction Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Real Estate Law. His distinguished career in law began in 1994, following his graduation from the University of Texas School of Law. He co-founded Barney & McKenna, P.C. in 1999. Daren served as the Mayor of Ivins City from 2001 to 2009 and as a Judge Pro Tem for the Washington County Small Claims Court from 2000-2004. He was also appointed by Governor John Huntsman to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifth Judicial District. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1991 with a degree in Political Science, where he was a Truman Scholar Nominee and Scholastic All-American.
