James D. Hirschfield joined Cramer & Anderson in 1985 and became a partner in 2000. He has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, particularly in Family Law (divorce, custody, support, paternity, guardianship) and criminal defense (DUI, DMV license suspension). Attorney Hirschfield also works with the Connecticut State Police Special Licensing & Firearms Unit and the Board of Firearms Permit Examiners. He is a Family Special Master in Litchfield Superior Court and the Regional Family Trial Docket Court, and a Connecticut-certified Guardian ad Litem. He has served on the Region 12 Board of Education and represents individuals in education law matters. He is also appointed as a Committee of Sale in mortgage foreclosure cases and defends against them.
