Ryan joined Tenant Law Group in June 2024. He dedicates one hundred percent of his practice to helping California tenants who have been illegally evicted, harassed, or forced to live in inhumane conditions obtain financial compensation from their landlords. Ryan has dedicated much of his legal career to representing affected individuals, achieving settlements through mediation, arbitration, and trial. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He has been licensed to practice law in California since 2016. Prior to joining Tenant Law Group, Ryan worked as a Staff Attorney at the Eviction Defense Collaborative in San Francisco, where he represented low-income tenants in unlawful detainer proceedings. He also worked as a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, where he represented low-income tenants in unlawful detainer proceedings and advocated for their housing rights. Ryan also has experience in civil litigation, working as an associate attorney at a civil litigation firm in Los Angeles, where he handled complex civil litigation matters, including breach of contract, fraud, and personal injury cases. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and hiking.
