Scott is an experienced and successful trial attorney with over 41 years of law practice, mostly in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a principal founder of the Lyons & Emerson Law Firm (later Lyons, Emerson & Cone) in 1983 until late 2008. In 2009, Scott started a solo practice in Jonesboro and continued in that practice until May 2023 after relocating to Little Rock.
