Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Gaby pursued her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of St. Mary’s in San Antonio. Aside from successfully completing law school in 2½ years, Gaby also impressively worked over 100 pro bono hours during her first and most demanding year of law school, volunteering at the St. Mary’s Immigration Clinic. Gaby’s passion for advocacy led her to the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, where she served as a First Chair Assistant District Attorney in the 275th Judicial District Court. After her work with the District Attorney, Gaby transitioned to civil defense, specializing in defending medical professionals, including representation before the Texas Medical Board and in overpayment audits. He graduated from Campbell University in 2007 with a degree in computer science and earned his J.D. in 2011 from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. His practice areas include immigration law and criminal defense cases.
