Terelle Hairston is the COO of the Virginia offices. Mr. Hairston began his career as a corporate consultant in leadership and technology for Fortune 100 companies. He later worked for a large hedge fund and a media conglomerate where he focused on business strategy. Mr. Hairston then joined Virginia Injury Law at our Norfolk location and has helped VIL build world class business processes. Mr. Hairston grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from Yale University.

She spent six months in Panama, learning Spanish. She joined The Truitt Law Firm in 2011 and returned in 2022, having received an associate's degree in General Studies (with a focus in accounting and finance) from Delgado Community College in 2016.

Anne Thompson is a third-year law student at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a certified student attorney with extensive courtroom experience. At the Anoka County Public Defender’s Office, Anne has represented clients at bail hearings, pre-trial motions, and contested omnibus hearings under attorney supervision. She has also drafted motions in limine and legal memoranda, conducted in-depth legal analysis, and worked closely with trial teams on witness preparation. Prior to law school, she held several public-facing roles in crisis advocacy, nonprofit marketing, and newsroom operations. Carlos Palma was born in El Salvador, and was raised in and currently lives in Richmond, CA. For ten years he worked for the city of Richmond’s Community Services Department, where he managed recreation facilities and coordinated various events and programs for Richmond residents. Carlos received his B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley in 2017. While studying at the University of California, he worked as a law clerk for a San Francisco based firm before moving to Brent & Fiol, LLP. Carlos plans to attend law school in the future, and his goal is to use his education, Spanish-speaking ability, and experience working with diverse and low-income communities to help facilitate greater access to legal services.
