About Lisa
Attorney Lisa M. Rivas is a Partner in Cramer & Anderson’s Danbury office, specializing in Immigration Law. She handles removal proceedings, asylum interviews, family and employment petitions, and consular processing. She has experience with Special Immigrant Juveniles (SIJ) Status and cases involving domestic violence victims. Attorney Rivas is bilingual and has represented clients from across the world. She is recognized for her volunteer and pro bono work, receiving a Social Impact award in the 2023 New England Legal Awards, a Graduates of the Last Decade Impact Award from UConn Law School Alumni Association in 2020, and a New Leaders in the Law award from The Connecticut Law Tribune in 2016. She was also named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021. She chairs the Selection Committee for the Latino Scholarship Fund, Inc.
