About Michael
Michael A. Timbes is an attorney and co-founder of Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A., where he directs the firm’s business litigation, civil litigation, personal injury, and appellate practice groups. He grew up in Conway, South Carolina, and earned his bachelor’s degree and law degree with honors from the University of South Carolina. He clerked for Judge Kaye G. Hearn of the South Carolina Court of Appeals and began his private practice as a business litigator in Atlanta. He co-founded Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A., in 2005. He is a Certified Civil Court Mediator, appointed by the South Carolina Supreme Court to the Board of Law Examiners, and has served as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law. He has been recognized on the South Carolina Super Lawyers list multiple times.
