About Taylor
Taylor D. Ivy grew up in New Madrid, Missouri, and received her bachelor’s degree in health management from Saint Louis University. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law. After law school, she clerked for The Honorable Heath Taylor and gained experience as a prosecutor with The First Circuit Solicitor’s Office, handling various criminal cases. Taylor joined Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A., in January 2025 as an attorney in the firm’s criminal defense practice group. She is licensed to practice in South Carolina and Tennessee and is a member of the Dorchester Country Bar and the Charleston County Bar.
