About Thomas
Thomas J. Rode grew up in Wilmington, N.C., and graduated magna cum laude from Charleston School of Law. He served as a law clerk for the South Carolina Court of Appeals and later joined Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A., in 2013. He is a partner in the firm's appellate practice group, handling business and contract disputes, construction litigation, insurance coverage, bad faith claims, property disputes, condemnation proceedings, and electronic surveillance/wiretapping claims. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina trial and appellate courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association and has served as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law.
