Ms. Watkins' practice areas include Real Property Law, Estate Planning, Trust & Estate Administration Law, Elder Law, Corporate & Commercial Law, Landlord/Tenant, and Not-for-Profit Law. Born in York, Pennsylvania in 1952, she was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1983. She received her B.S. with distinction from Duquesne University and Pennsylvania State University in 1974. Her J.D. cum laude was from Albany Law School of Union University in 1982. She was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Albany Law Review (1981-1982) and a member of the Justinian Society. She served as an Appellate Court Attorney, New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division (1982-1983). Ms. Watkins joined the firm in 1983, and has been a principal since 1989. She is a member of the Warren County and New York State Bar Associations, and past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association. She has served on various boards including the Warren County Bar Foundation, Glens Falls Hospital Foundation’s Planned Giving Council, Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra, and Adirondack Girl Scout Council.
