About Raymond
Raymond Berg was born in 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota. He graduated first in his class from DePaul University law school and pursued post-doctorate studies in International Law at Cambridge University. He served as an Assistant United States District Attorney, prosecuting organized crime and doing anti-trust work, achieving 35 consecutive criminal convictions. He was the first director of the Federal Defender Program in Chicago, a program initiated at the request of President John F. Kennedy and U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy.
