About Bertrand
Bertrand Russell Parnall is an Albuquerque native, salutatorian of the Class of 1988 at Albuquerque High School, and co-captain of the district football champion Bulldogs. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University with a double major in history and French, and his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law after coming home to Albuquerque. Before starting his own firm, Bert worked in legal aid for the U.S. District Court for New Mexico, as a senior trial prosecutor in Valencia and Sandoval Counties, and as a partner at another personal injury law firm. In 2009, he established Parnall Law to focus intensely on advocating for victims of negligence. Since its inception, Parnall Law has grown into a formidable team driven by foundational values: Teamwork, Talent, Truth, Tenacity, and Triumph. The firm has achieved significant milestones, securing over $350 million for clients and growing to include 110 dedicated team members, including 15 accomplished attorneys. His commitment to law is a legacy passed down through a family devoted to public service, especially in New Mexico. His father, a former Dean of the University of New Mexico School of Law, inspired his path. His upbringing included living in Ethiopia, Egypt, and Tunisia, and studying at La Sorbonne in Paris, which instilled a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and justice. He is an active member of the Albuquerque community, supporting local initiatives and serving on the advisory board for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
