About Thomas

Thomas Tedeschi, raised in rural Southern Illinois, has dedicated his adult life to public service. He worked in his family's retail paint and glass construction business before serving as an Intensive Probation Officer, State’s Attorney Investigator, and Deputy Sheriff. He graduated from the University of Illinois Police Training Institute in 1995, receiving the Ervin H. Warren Award and an academic achievement award. He earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2003. He prosecuted criminal cases as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Franklin County, Illinois, and was elected Resident Circuit Judge in 2008, presiding over numerous jury and bench trials. He served as Chief Judge of the Second Judicial Circuit from 2013 to 2021, the longest-serving in its history, and was appointed to various Illinois Supreme Court committees. After retiring from the bench in November 2024, he relocated to Albuquerque in June 2025 to join Parnall Law, continuing his public service by assisting injured individuals in achieving justice.
