About Greg

Greg Abel brings 17 years of trial lawyer experience from Illinois to Parnall Law, focusing on plaintiff's personal injury cases, particularly automobile, truck, and motorcycle accidents. Before becoming an attorney, he managed a family farm and auto body shop, and worked for an insurance appraisal company. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Indiana University Southeast in 1997 and his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2000. He has a long-standing interest in helping others, having tutored law students and volunteered in an elder law clinic. Prior to Parnall Law, he worked for a firm in Mattoon, Illinois, and then for 14 years as lead attorney at Hausmann-McNally, S.C. in Decatur, Illinois.
