Guy D. Perrier

Guy D. Perrier is a native New Orleanian and founding member of Perrier & Lacoste, LLC. Specializing in the defense of national and local companies facing casualty and property claims, as well as general liability, he has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating with a 5.0/5.0 peer rating and has been recognized as one of New Orleans Magazine Top Lawyers. Guy has also been selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers List 2009-2025. Since graduating from Tulane University Law School in 1990, Guy has practiced general liability defense, transportation litigation, construction litigation, insurance defense, products liability and premises liability before all levels of state and federal courts. Eric R. Price

Eric Price is a member of Perrier & Lacoste’s Mississippi office. His office is located in the Jackson, Mississippi metro area. Eric’s practice involves commercial trucking defense, non-emergency medical transportation, premises liability, appellate advocacy and uninsured motorist disputes. Eric is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana and Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006 and has been litigating cases since then. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2021. In 2002, Eric received his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from Mississippi State University, majoring in Business Information Systems. In 2006, Eric received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi. While there, he was selected to become a member of Phi Kappa Phi and served on the Mississippi Journal of Space Law. Eric was a semi-finalist in the Steen Reynolds & Dalehite Trial Competition and the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts. Rodney J. Lacoste, Jr.

Rodney J. Lacoste, Jr. is a native New Orleanian and founding member of Perrier & Lacoste, L.L.C. practicing primarily in transportation law, insurance coverage, appellate practice and procedure, and the defense of personal injury claims in transportation, products liability, and workers’ compensation litigation. Rodney’s experience has focused on representing interstate and local trucking companies, common carriers and their insurers in matters involving catastrophic losses, insurance coverage, and contractual issues. He is a member of numerous trucking and transportation organizations including the Transportation Lawyers Association and the Louisiana Motor Transport Association. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute. Since graduating from the Loyola University School of Law in 1989, Rodney has practiced transportation litigation, insurance coverage and defense, products liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation before all levels of state and federal courts. As a trial lawyer, Rodney has served as lead counsel in complex cases involving multi-million dollar catastrophic losses. In addition to his law degree, he also earned an MBA from Loyola University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status). Rodney is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Foundation, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel (Board of Directors, 2003 - present; President, 2010). Kristopher M. Gould

Kristopher M. Gould is a litigator practicing in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense, including first and third party automobile, transportation and trucking, premises liability, insurance coverage, extra contractual and bad faith, subrogation, and workers compensation claims. He has successfully represented clients in jury, bench, and administrative trials and in matters on appeal. Kris attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics. Cory T. Stuart

Cory Stuart was born and raised in the greater New Orleans area. He graduated from Jesuit High School and then attended Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Sciences in Marketing in 2004. After directing operations for a national college athletics organization for several years, Cory attended law school and earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010. While attending Loyola, Cory was a member of the Maritime Law Journal, which published his Comment regarding the legal and practical dynamics involved with complex shipwreck salvage. After graduating from law school and earning admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 2010, Cory gained extensive experience litigating insurance disputes from both a defense and coverage perspective. He has advised both domestic and international clients in diverse matters involving a multitude of admiralty and maritime issues, marine and non-marine personal injury defense, domestic and commercial property damage disputes, environmental and regulatory matters, and general casualty issues. Cory has also litigated a broad spectrum of first and third-party insurance coverage matters. He has assisted his clients in obtaining many favorable outcomes, both in the context of alternative dispute resolution and at trial, including in multi-million dollar personal injury and general casualty claims. Cory joined Perrier & Lacoste in 2017, and he now serves corporate and insurance clients in litigating matters involving transportation, wrongful death, personal injury, products liability, property damage, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage and bad faith. Sean M. McAllister

Sean M. McAllister has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury lawsuits, including cases involving auto/trucking accidents, maritime law, workers’ compensation disputes, employment law, civil rights violations, premises liability matters, and products liability matters. As a practicing attorney, he has also litigated cases concerning family law, criminal law, and consumer/debtor law. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in 2010 followed by his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2014. He was named to the law school’s Chancellor’s List, participated in various moot court competitions, and contributed time to the Public Law Society. Within three months of becoming licensed to practice law in October 2014, he won his first trial as first chair. He is licensed to practice before all state courts throughout Louisiana and before the federal courts in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. James H. Johnson

Since earning his admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 2014, James H. Johnson has represented a varied client base in complex litigation matters. He has litigated diverse issues in state and federal courts, including automobile and trucking liability, products liability, construction defects, and wrongful death and personal injury matters. His practice has also focused on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. James Johnson grew up in Atlanta and moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University, where he graduated with a BA in English. James graduated from Loyola University College of Law in 2014, where he attended the evening law program while also working as a law clerk at a local law firm focused on insurance defense and construction. Prior to law school, James worked in advertising and communications as a writer, researcher, and copy editor, serving a wide variety of clients, including corporations, public entities, and legislators. James currently represents corporate and insurance clients in litigation matters involving insurance coverage and bad faith claims, trucking and auto matters, and personal injury claims. James is licensed and admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
