I’m originally from Austin, Texas, where I lived until I completed my undergrad degree in Latin American studies. I moved to Portland, Oregon, for law school and immediately knew I would build my life here. Growing up, I was introduced to diverse cultures through traveling to Latin America. Those experiences are to credit for my unique perspective, my Spanish-speaking ability, and college major. Throughout my life, I have been unable to ignore injustice which is why I went to law school to become a lawyer. As an attorney, my main goal is to help people and fight for their rights. Most people won’t need my services, but when something happens that requires them, it can cause anxiety and uncertainty. The task of finding the right attorney can add more pressure to an already stressful situation. When working with clients, I understand that they are often overwhelmed and distressed. To ease that anxiety, I keep clients well informed through clear and direct communication during the legal process. Overall client satisfaction and trust is a top priority, so I treat all clients and legal matters with the utmost care and respect. Mr. Dunk received his B.S. in Business Management from the prestigious Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Dunk graduated cum laude in the top five percentile of his graduating class in 2000. Mr. Dunk received his Juris Doctorate J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas in May of 2004.

Elizabeth C. Fahrlander

Elizabeth C. Fahrlander specializes in creating personalized estate plans for individuals of all ages and families of all compositions. She passionately believes that everyone should be prepared for the unexpected. Elizabeth found her calling after experiencing a brush with her own mortality in 2019 at the age of 35 when she was diagnosed with and underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. At the time, she did not even have powers of attorney in place despite, as a lawyer, knowing that she should. Elizabeth had been working in banking, and when Covid hit the following year, she was struck by how many of her banking clients lacked advanced planning documents, and by how many of her contemporaries who worked as doctors, nurses, and teachers - traditionally not jobs considered “high risk” - were suddenly posting on social media looking for recommendations for estate planning. The clear need for this kind of legal service led Elizabeth to start her own small law practice, before joining Capital Law Group, S.C. in 2025. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa, with majors in Political Science and Philosophy, Elizabeth went on to attend The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. During law school, she was active in various clubs, including the Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA), completed a summer fellowship with The Human Rights Campaign, and worked for a lobbying firm specializing environmental issues and the representation of nonprofits. A Madison native, Elizabeth returned home after graduation to put down roots closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, ballroom dancing, watching history documentaries, and attending temple. She lives in Madison with her husband, Brian, and their menagerie of pets.
