Robert J. Berg is an experienced class action lawyer with over twenty years of experience, having achieved hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for consumers and investors. He litigates class actions nationwide in federal and state courts, focusing on consumer fraud, securities, and antitrust. Notable achievements include a $14.85 million jury verdict in Connecticut, a $90 million consumer class action settlement against AT&T, and innovative settlements against Volvo and Saab. He was co-lead counsel in securities fraud class actions against Deutsche Telekom AG ($120 million settlement) and Deutsche Bank ($58 million settlement), and a member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the Initial Public Offerings Securities Litigation ($586 million settlement). He also handled age and sex discrimination arbitration. Prior to his own firm, he was a partner at a leading plaintiffs’ class action firm and a litigator at Skadden Arps, LLP and Dewey LeBoeuf, LLP. Bob is the Secretary and Executive Board Member of the Scarsdale Forum, a Director and former President of the Crane-Berkeley Neighborhood Association, a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, and a former International Game Fishing Association world record holder.
