About Taylor
Taylor Hammonds is the most recent addition to Henson Fuerst's Land Condemnation Division. A first in her family to become an attorney and a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, Taylor graduated from UNC Pembroke with a bachelor’s degree in political science and earned her Juris Doctorate from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Law. She served as a Judicial Law Clerk at both the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court, honing her legal research and writing skills. Taylor is passionate about advocating for fair treatment and equal access to justice for property owners affected by land takings.
